Out of sight, still there
Cleaning the lint screen isn't the whole job.
The screen catches most lint. What slips past settles along the duct between your dryer and the outside wall or roof, where hot air has to push through it. These are the signs it's time.
Loads take two cycles
Towels still damp after a full run is the most common sign air isn't getting out.
The dryer runs hot
The top of the dryer or the laundry room feels warmer than it used to.
Weak air at the cap
Little or no airflow at the outside vent while the dryer is running.
Lint where it shouldn't be
Lint around the outside cap, behind the dryer, or a flap that won't open.

Questions
Who actually does the cleaning?
A vetted local vent technician that VentSafe books for your visit. VentSafe handles booking, scheduling and your reminder; the tech handles the duct.
How often should a dryer vent be cleaned?
Once a year is a sensible habit for most homes, and sooner if you notice any of the signs above. That is why every cleaning comes with a reminder.
What if my vent cap is broken or has a nest in it?
Add a Bird Guard / Vent Cap Replacement. Your tech swaps the old cap for a new one with a guard, and you get photos of both.
Is this a dryer repair?
No. A vent cleaning clears the path air takes out of your home. If your dryer itself needs repair, your tech will tell you what they saw so you can call an appliance pro.
I own rentals. Can you do several units?
Yes. Landlord Multi-Unit is priced per unit, and each unit gets its own photos and airflow reading in one report you can keep with your records.
When was your vent last cleaned?
If you can't remember, it's probably time.
